Industry get-together spotlights components, services and surface technologies

Three-in-one trade show for the automotive, engineering and medical-technology sectors
Logo InterPart (PresseBox) (Koblenz, ) From June 3 to 5, some 300 exhibitors will take part in this year’s InterPart, MediPart and Surfacts trades shows at the Karlsruhe Exhibition Center (Germany). On display will be components, solutions and surface-treatment technologies for the automotive, engineering and medical-technology industries. Staged in one of Europe’s strongest economic regions, and tailored to the specific needs of these sectors, the three-in-one event is an ideal opportunity for companies to identify and source state-of-the-art products and services.

While other shows for component sourcing span the entire process chain, InterPart, MediPart and Surfacts focus firmly on products, services and surface treatment. At this year’s event, some 300 companies will present innovative technologies and solutions in these three areas. Enterprises from Germany and beyond will have their own dedicated booths, with exhibitors from as far afield as China. Moreover, there will be joint stands for organizations, regions and countries: These include the Automotive Engineering Network (AEN), the Karlsruhe Chamber of Crafts (Handwerkskammer Karlsruhe), the Region of Saxony (Germany), and regions from Italy, Spain and the Netherlands.

InterPart – where automotive and engineering players come to buy Held in the heartland of the German automotive and European engineering industries, the international InterPart event provides manufacturers and decision-makers with insight into the very latest innovations – plus the opportunity to source products and services. Exhibitors at InterPart have the skills and experience needed to meet industry-specific requirements – and manufacture components in high volumes.

MediPart – precision products for medical-device manufacturers
The MediPart show features precision components for medical technology – one of Europe’s fastest growing industries. This year, the event will be held alongside InterPart and Surfacts for the first time. Specialist component makers will showcase precision parts and technologies for the manufacture of components with extremely tight tolerances.

Surfacts – made-to-measure surface technologies
Surface-processing, -treatment, and -coating methods play an essential part in manufacturing – and their significance is increasing, particularly for automotive, engineering, and medical-technology applications. Surfacts offers decision-makers in all three sectors solutions and technologies that can increase quality, efficiency and performance, as well as offerings designed to optimize processes and products.

The event brings together three shows, each focusing on a clearly defined topic area. This gives key people in operational management, R&D, production, product design, and quality assurance, an ideal opportunity to gain insight into new solutions, and intensify existing business relationships.

InterPart, MediPart and Surfacts will be held from June 3 to 5, 2008, at the Karlsruhe Exhibition Center (Germany). The threefold show will be open from 9.00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the first two days; and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the final day.
