Baumüller Benelux B.V. opens second branch in the Netherlands
(PresseBox) (Nürnberg, )The Baumüller Group just grew bigger. Through the acquisition of a repair company of the Vos Gerard Group, Baumüller Benelux B.V. has successfully opened a second branch in Breda, Netherlands. For the most part, the existing specialized staff stayed on at the new branch. Acquisition of the repair company represents considerable growth for the Nuremberg-based Baumüller Group.
Increase in capacity
Taking over the location in Breda allows Baumüller Benelux B.V. to expand its previous service offerings. Activities that could not be implemented at the Zoetermeer branch for technical and logistic reasons can now be carried out directly at the Breda branch. One of the most important aspects here is the possibility to process high-voltage motors up to 30 kV weighing up to 20 metric tons. This expands Baumüller Benelux B.V.'s potential clientele in the fields of petrochemicals, blast furnaces and power stations.
The 1,800 square meter KEMA IECEx-certified workshop features comprehensive machine and process equipment setups and test facilities up to 20 kV.
Years of experience in small motors
Baumüller Benelux B.V. managed to hold on to much of the specialized staff of the previous company of the Vos Gerard Group when it was acquired. The takeover in Breda compliments the existing winding department in Zoetermeer with expertise in small motors. It is now also possible to repair a broad spectrum of motors, from AC/DC to special motors, for example for disk rotors.
