ISO Software Systems Inc. has won the Gold award in the 15th edition of the SME Awards (small and medium-sized enterprises Awards) in category ‘Small Businesses’ of the Montreal region.

The winners of the awards have been announced during a reception at the Hotel Intercontinental in Montreal September 9th, 2008. ISO Canada has been chosen as best small enterprise by a jury consisting of directors, managers and journalists of well-known companies like IBM Canada, Bell Canada, Deloitte & Touche and La Presse (biggest French daily newspaper in the province Quebec). The assessment included financial aspects as well as strategy, growth, corporate philosophy and work environment.
Vice President Levis R. Doucet of the National Bank recognized the exceptional performance of the winners who stand out for their competence, drive and their excellence in human resources management.
This is the first time ever that ISO Canada seized its chance to participate in this prestigious competition and won at first go the gold award in the category for companies with sales of CAD 0 to CAD 5 million.
As regional winner in this category ISO Canada will be automatically nominated for the provincial finals, which will be held November 7th, 2008 in Montreal.
ISO Canada has been represented at this event by Neville-Warren Cloutier (president of ISO Software Systems Inc.) and Holger Braunwarth. Both expressed their gratitude and proud to receive this award and highlighted the human resources of ISO Canada as the key success factor in winning this price.
This award provides ISO Canada an important publicity with free advertisements announcing ISO Canada as regional winner of the SME Awards, interviews with business magazines and newspapers.
