Husqvarna Motorcycles enhances Logistic Processes with Software Solutions from Würth Phoenix

The renowned motorcycle producer belonging to the BMW Group bets on a new partner for its future ERP strategy
New renowned customer for ERP logistics specialist Würth Phoenix (PresseBox) (Bolzano-Varese, ) Husqvarna Motorcycles will introduce a new software solution to enhance its order and supply processes. Herewith the oldest European motorcycle manufacturer will improve the resource utilization in the after sales area and increase the profitability of the spare parts management. Würth Phoenix, the IT company belonging to the Würth Group, the worldwide market leader in the distribution of fastening materials will carry out the implementation.

According to a service agreement signed last week in Varese/Italy, Husqvarna will implement the industry solution WÜRTHPHOENIX Trade+, based on Microsoft Dynamics AX. By introducing the new software the company expects a more efficient order processing and spare parts management. „The support of our business processes through dedicated software systems is essential to us. Therefore, we conducted a detailed market research and went for the solution offered by Würth Phoenix. Opting for a system best fitting our business needs is part of our company strategy in order to reach continuous quality improvements in the supply chain,“ explains Corrado Toxiri, IT Manager of Husqvarna Motorcycles.

By adopting the new software Husqvarna´s resellers can easily check the spare part availability and hence notably reduce the customer response time. Husqvarna considers the increased logistic efficiency and improved customer care processes to be a strategic success factor in global competition.
