PaintExpo Eurasia Fair Logo (PresseBox) (Oberboihingen, ) Around 100 companies will be present at the premiere of PaintExpo Eurasia in Istanbul (Turkey) from 6th to 8th October 2011. The range of products on offer from exhibitors from 13 different countries covers the complete process chain of industrial coating technology. The main focus of the trade fair is on solutions for improving quality, cost effectiveness and environmental friendliness. The latter aspect is especially important in view of the EU twinning project to control and reduce industrial VOC emissions in Turkey which started on 4th August 2011.

“We’re delighted about the high number and different nationalities of exhibitors taking part in the premiere of PaintExpo Eurasia. It shows that manufacturers of industrial coating technologies see both Turkey and the MENA region (Middle East & North Africa) as important markets”, explained Juergen Haussmann, CEO of the German company FairFair GmbH which together with Artkim Fuarcilik is organizing the trade fair for industrial coating technologies in Turkey. It will take place at the Expo Center in Istanbul from 6th to 8th October 2011 parallel to TurkCoat, a trade fair for paints and chemicals.

Premiere with a comprehensive and representative range of exhibitors
That PaintExpo Eurasia is deemed right from the word go to be the prime meeting place for industry at the interface between the West and East is obvious from the high number of international established and renowned companies from the fields of systems, application and feeding technologies as well as paint manufacturers which are taking part. The spectrum of exhibits includes products and services concerned with wet painting, powder coating and coil coating and covers everything from preconditioning through to final inspection. It is designed to provide job coaters and in-house painting companies with solutions to improve quality and cost-effectiveness as well as increase flexibility and environmental and occupational safety regarding painting and coating processes. The range on offer takes into consideration the main industrial aspects of the MENA region, such as the automotive and supplier industries, commercial vehicles, trains, ships and shipyards, aerospace, plant and machine construction, metal and sheet metal working, plastics processing, household appliances, furniture (wooden and metal), sport and leisure, metal and glass façade construction, window and door manufacture, electronic industry, heating and air conditioning technology and the packaging industry.

Strict environmental protection directives under development
A topic of current interest especially in Turkey is the tightening up of environmental protection laws for painting processes and partly due to the new EU twinning project TR 09 IB EN 01 “Controlling industrial VOC emissions” which started on 4th August 2011 in Ankara. In the project, Germany is helping Turkey to achieve its aim of preventing or significantly reducing the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in order to protect the environment and human health.
The exhibitors at PaintExpo Eurasia supply detailed information about the stricter environmental and occupational safety laws and provide solutions to enable industries to fulfill future requirements. Among others, this includes painting systems that enable VOC emissions to be reduced to the new EU level. Application-related solutions will be also presented which, through being more efficient, further contribute towards environmentally friendlier and more cost effective painting processes. Another area is so-called high and very high solid paints, whereby VOC emissions are decreased through the application of higher proportions of solid matter. For job coaters and in-house painting companies, this makes a visit to PaintExpo Eurasia an “investment in the future”, enabling them to keep up with or even get ahead of the competition.
