Record Breaking Visitor Numbers at parts2clean

Leading International Trade Fair for Industrial Parts and Surface Cleaning Inspires Participants with Quality and Quantity
(PresseBox) (Neuffen, ) Neuffen – Companies around the world are focusing more and more attention on industrial cleaning technology. This is substantiated by visitor numbers which rose by roughly 18% at the 9th parts2clean at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 25th through the 27th of October, 2011. A cheerful mood was assured for the 237 exhibitors at the leading trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning thanks to large numbers of visitors, as well as concrete RFQs and prospective orders brought along by the expert visitors from 49 countries.

With 4779 visitors (an increase of 18.1% as compared with last year), the 9th parts2clean set an all-time record for visitor numbers at the internationally unique trade fair. Expert visitors journeyed to the event from 49 countries on all five continents. 18.4% of the visitors came from outside of Germany. With 237 exhibitors, this year’s leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning experienced an increase of roughly 7%. The exhibiting companies from 15 countries presented products and services covering the entire process sequence on 65,000 square feet of net exhibition floor space (160,000 square feet of overall floor space) (4.5% growth).

Qualified Technical Discussions, Concrete Projects and Orders
The event organised by fairXperts GmbH was not only distinguished by quantity, but rather by quality as well. Exhibitors were thus able to profit from the outstanding expertise and decision making authority demonstrated by the visitors. 88.2% of the visitors are involved with company decision making processes. “parts2clean is now well established and is becoming more and more international. In addition to visitors from the German speaking countries, we also had visitors from Hungary, Poland, England, Brazil, Turkey and Singapore at our booth, and they brought along concrete problems that have to be solved. parts2clean has gone very well for us this time too, and we’ll exhibit again in 2012 in any case”, reports Karl-Heinz Schoch, director of the cleaning technology business division at Elma – Hans Schmidbauer GmbH & Co. KG. Nearly all of the exhibitors arrived at similar conclusions. For example, Dr. Uwe Anton Schubert, global area sales manager at Dürr Ecoclean GmbH, was also very satisfied with the way things went at parts2clean: “On the one hand, we took advantage of our trade fair presentation to introduce new products and to exhibit our broad ranging product portfolio. On the other hand, we set ourselves the goal of refreshing business relations with existing customers and establishing contact with new companies, and we succeeded in both areas in a well-balanced fashion.” A further aspect was also important for Hakan Gülecyüz, export manager at the Turkish company Everest Elektromekanik: “We see all of our competitors here, and that’s a very good thing.” Daniel Fisch from the marketing department at Reinhausen Plasma GmbH, who participated at parts2clean for the first time this year, also drew a positive conclusion: “We had visitors at our booth from the optics and automotive industries, machinery manufacturing and other sectors with concrete micro-cleaning requirements, and in some cases they even brought their workpieces along with them. We were able to provide visitors with information about cleaning solutions with plasma at atmospheric pressure and fielded lots of RFQs. We’re glad we exhibited at parts2clean.” Vivi Yde Laursen, project manager for sales and marketing at the Danish company DST KEMI A/S, was also enthusiastic: “It was a great trade fair for us, and we picked up significantly more and better leads than we did last year. We also received orders from customers who bought a cleaning system, and want to fill it with our cleaning agents after it arrives.” Bill Breault, market manager for US cleaning agent manufacturers Petroferm, also achieved all of the goals he had set for himself in Stuttgart: “We were able to establish excellent contacts with users, got to know some potential sales partners and intensified our relations with cleaning equipment manufacturers.”

Highly Satisfied Visitors
Offerings presented at parts2clean, which covered a broad range of industry sectors and materials, met the expectations of the visitors. 95% were satisfied or very satisfied with the exhibition portfolio. These high levels of satisfaction are not least of all due the fact that the leading trade fair presents products and services covering the entire process sequence – for simple, as well as for highly complex cleaning tasks. At the same time, the trade fair programme offers solutions which meet demands for an holistic approach to the cleaning process, which is becoming more and more common at innumerable companies. Amongst other aspects, this includes workpiece carriers, bath maintenance, cleanliness inspection, avoidance of recontamination and temporary corrosion protection.

The 10th parts2clean will take place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 23th through the 25th of October, 2012.

Further Exhibitor Statements

Klaus Brockmann, director of sales and project engineering, H2O GmbH
“This year’s parts2clean was unusually successful for us. Visitor numbers were significantly higher, and the quality of our leads was better than ever. The visitors came to us with concrete projects, so that the trade fair has really paid off for us. We’ll certainly be back in 2012.”

Bettina Love, assistant to the COO, SurTec International GmbH
“As always, visitor quality was outstanding. Many of the visitors came from suppliers to the automotive industry, as well as from the eyeglasses and jewellery sectors, and we also had lots of visitors from the fields of electrical engineering and electronics this year. There’s no doubt that we’ll be on hand for the anniversary event in 2012.”

Bernd Katzwinkel, regional sales representative for Baden-Württemberg, Cleanmax GmbH
“We’re a young company and we participated at parts2clean for the first time this year. We had a very successful trade fair and lots of positive discussion. We’ll certainly close some deals as a result of the event, and we’ll exhibit again in 2012.”

Alexander Nix, managing director, Dansotec GmbH
“The RFQs were highly qualified, especially from two or three companies who are very interesting for us. Our participation at the trade fair was a good door opener in this respect. The visitors came from a multitude of industries, and conspicuously large numbers came from the fields of forming technology and photovoltaics. We’ve already filled out the registration form for parts2clean 2012.”

Stefan Kopp, project manager, SMP Maschinenbau GmbH
“Things went even better at this year’s trade fair than they have in the past. We’ve got more RFQs than we can really handle. We’ll exhibit again at parts2clean in 2012 in any case.”

Franz Silberhorn, managing shareholder, Maschinenbau Silberhorn GmbH
“We’ve been exhibiting since the first event in 2003, and parts2clean has turned into our most important trade fair. It’s become more international as well. We’ve fielded lots of new RFQs again this year – mostly from the automotive and solar industries. In addition to establishing contacts to new companies, the event is also important for us with regard to maintaining relations with existing customers. It’s already settled that we’ll exhibit again in 2012.”

Volker Burger, managing director, CleanControlling GmbH
“We’ve been able to establish contact with new businesses including companies from medical engineering and the optics industry. Most of the visitors come naturally from the automotive industry. Great interest was expressed in the issue of assembly cleanliness and associated consultation services, as well as the localisation and elimination of sources of particulate contamination.”

Marion Stamm, sales manager for industrial ultrasonics, Bandelin Electronic GmbH & Co. KG
“Both the quantity and the quality of the visitors were very good. We were surprised that we had so many international visitors at our booth. As always, we had interesting discussions which involved concrete tasks and projects. This is the distinguishing factor at parts2clean. The customers bring real cleaning problems to the trade fair, and in some cases even have workpieces with them. We ran cleaning tests right at our booth for smaller parts, which was very well received. Of course we’ll be back again for the next parts2clean.”
