Success with Embedded Software

Berner & Mattner at embedded world 2012
(PresseBox) (Munich, ) From February 28 to March 1, 2012, Berner & Mattner presents itself at the Exhibition Center in Nuremberg in hall 5, booth 326. According to the motto "Software Makes the Difference", the exhibition of the expert in developing and testing high-performance electronic systems is all about the development of integrated solutions in the areas of engineering, automation, control, operation, and testing. Visitors can see a live presentation of the testing tools MESSINA and CTE XL Professional of Berner & Mattner, the award-winning touch user interface CMControl of the measurement instrument manufacturer Omicron and I-Planet, Assystem's modern monitoring and control system for efficient energy management in buildings. The joint presentation with the Assystem Group also demonstrates the potential of Berner & Mattner to be a development partner for large international projects as part of the worldwide operating Assystem company.

In many industries, embedded systems are the key to higher performance, better usability, lower costs and improved safety. Each edge differentiates products and generates advantages in global competition. Berner & Mattner provides a comprehensive range of services for the development of integrated solutions for its customers in the automotive, rail, power engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace and defence industries. The company contributes specific technology and methodology expertise and assumes full responsibility for development projects as a development partner.

At the exhibition, the company shows reference projects such as the development of the innovative, award-winning touch-screen user interface for the CMControl of the measurement instrument manufacturer Omicron. The engineers illustrate the project and the concept of agile, parallel development of functional software and innovative GUI design. In addition to presenting the proven tools for testing process optimization, MESSINA 3.3 and CTE XL Professional, our specialists will answer all questions on topics such as product lifecycle and software architecture or technology and tool selection.

Parent company Assystem as co-exhibitor

For the first time at a Berner & Mattner exhibition stand, Assystem, Berner & Mattner's parent company since 2011, presents I-Planet, the monitoring and control system for efficient energy management in private households and commercial properties, thus creating an essential component for "intelligent" buildings. Assystem demonstrates a modern combination of home automation solutions with remote interfaces via smartphone apps.

Scouting for new talents

On the occasion of the Student Day at the embedded world on March 1, Berner & Mattner looks forward to meeting interested young academics from computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and related disciplines. On this day, Human Resources Management invites students and graduates to our stand to learn about Berner & Mattner's activities and career opportunities. On the other days of the fair, too, colleagues will be available for personal contact.
