Finalisation of the Demand Connection Code and Information Session on 12 December 2012

(PresseBox) (Brussels, ) On 5 December 2012 ENTSO-E published its proposal for the final Demand Connection Code (DCC), to be submitted for ENTSO-E Assembly approval. A public information session to communicate on the changes in the Code since its public consultation and to highlight the key elements of the Code and its development process will take place on 12 December 2012 in Brussels.

ENTSO-E is preparing for submission of the final DCC to ACER by 4 January 2013. After assessing the input of the recent web-based consultation, discussions with the DSO Technical Expert Group and the DCC User Group, as well as various interactions with ACER and the EC, ENTSO-E has amended the draft code and its supporting documentation to reflect all feedback. The DCC package is being finalised for internal approval by the ENTSO-E Assembly by 21 December 2012.

To inform all interested parties on recent changes to the Code, to set out the key benefits of the DCC and to make an overview of the development process spanning over the last 12 months, ENTSO-E will host an information session on 12 December 2012 in Brussels at the ENTSO-E premises. The meeting agenda is now available along with the draft supporting documents on the final DCC.

You can still register for the information session by sending a message to Mrs Thanh-Thanh Le Thi by 10 December 2012. In order to facilitate the participation of as many interested parties as possible, the information session can also be followed remotely by means of a webinar. Please indicate in your registration if you wish to make use of this option.
