It consolidates the business unit's expertise for all media flows in the fields of commercial vehicles and industrial applications. This means customers all over the world can now purchase even more components from a single source. At bauma, the segment is presenting its SCR hose line systems with heatable quick connectors. SCR stands for selective catalytic reduction, the technology for removing nitrogen oxides from diesel exhaust gases. In a catalytic converters, a urea solution called AdBlue is used to convert noxious nitrogen oxides (Nox) into steam and nitrogen. The high-performance hoses developed by ContiTech specifically for the SCR procedure ensure that the solution does not freeze and is transported securely from the tank to the catalyst at any temperature. ContiTech is also exhibiting charge air hoses designed for all CV applications in the -50 to +250C temperature range and pressures of up to 3.5 bar. Highly flexible hydraulic hoses made of rubber are indispensable components for hydraulically powered excavators, loaders, cranes and dumper trucks as well as plant and equipment, forklift trucks and lifting platforms. ContiTech offers complete solutions to its customers in the form of complete sets comprising several lines of various nominal widths and pressure levels ranging from 150 bar low pressure to 420 bar maximum pressure.

The ContiTech range also includes hydraulic solutions made of plastic. Preformed polyamide oil and fuel lines are a lightweight and cost-effective solution. They boast flexibility and media resistance. ContiTech Fluid Technology has developed extremely strong fuel lines especially for the new high-power truck engines with up to 16 l capacity and reduced fuel consumption. The new lines can withstand pressures of up to 35 bar and operating temperatures of up to 130°C. Conventional lines can no longer meet the requirements in these heavy-duty engines.

High-performance hoses for the construction industry
Thanks to their reliability and safety, high-performance hoses from ContiTech Fluid Technology can master all the challenges a construction site poses. The GOLD SNAKE® from ContiTech is an ultra flexible and extremely resistant water and cleaning hose that can easily cope with the tough conditions of everyday construction work. The tensile member is made of a material manufactured according to ContiTech's own specifications in order to achieve a special bond. The pressure-bearing textile ply makes the hose resistant to buckling and capable of being driven over. The TRIX® BLAUSTRAHL from ContiTech can always be counted on, even under toughest conditions. The flexible and robust high-quality hose is designed for use in heavy-duty compressed air applications. It is temperature- and weather-resistant. Thanks to its good resistance to oil, it is also suitable for transporting air with high oil content.

ContiTech concrete feed hoses with maximum benefits of use
Concrete feed hoses from ContiTech are also tough. Thanks to their weather-resistant and extremely robust cover, their multi-layered reinforcement made of ultra tear- and rupture-resistant steel wire, and the smooth and extremely wear-resistant inner lining, they are optimally suited for use with concrete pumps and thick matter pumps. They also provide users with maximum flexibility at the same high quality by allowing for the use of different flange systems.

Large hoses from ContiTech in almost every length
In mining, tunneling as well as in structural and civil engineering, large hoses from ContiTech ensure that process water, oil, cement and dry bulk can be reliably transported even under pressure. The hoses are specially customized with an internal diameter of up to 2,000 mm. A special manufacturing process allows ContiTech to also supply large hoses with internal diameters of between 50 mm and 200 mm designed for working pressures of up to 40 bar. These hoses are available in virtually any length.
