Increased turnover and greater customer satisfaction: Fashion ID relies on prudsys’ realtime recommendations

Customers of Fashion ID, Peek & Cloppenburg’s* online shop, can now enjoy a personalised shopping experience in the all-new web shop and newsletter by way of product recommendations generated by the prudsys RDE.
(PresseBox) (Chemnitz, ) For over 100 years Peek und Cloppenburg* has stood for first class service and a close connection with the customer, offering high quality products at fair prices. The fashion retailer has now taken its concept of service to a new level: customers visiting the all-new Fashion ID online shop (www.fashionid.de) from August, are now shown purchase recommendations by the prudsys Realtime Decisioning Engine (“prudsys RDE” for short) and its modules.

The prudsys RDE now automatically displays various products of particular relevance to visitors to the shop in real time on the product details and search results pages.
The prudsys RDE | Recommendations module calculates recommendations both by evaluating historical data and through realtime learning based on continuous data analysis. Using various recommendation types also guarantees a high degree of personalisation, which, all in all, has resulted in a considerable increase in turnover and a rise in sales.

In email marketing too, the use of this realtime personalisation solution can significantly increase open rates and conversions by specifically addressing customers/subscribers with personalised contents. This is made possible using the RDE | Newsletter module, which only generates the recommendations in real time once the newsletter is actually opened, thus ensuring maximum relevance for the subscriber.
