Both crimping tools automatically adjust to the conductor cross-section. The PZ 10 HEX and PZ 10 SQR are suitable for wire-end ferrules with or without plastic collars in the cross-section range 0.14 mm² - 10 mm² (AWG 26...8). Users always crimp with the same tool; time-consuming tool changing is eliminated. Weidmüller complements the proven and widely used hexagonal crimping method (PZ10 HEX) with the equally soughtafter square crimping (PZ 10 SQR), thereby increasing choice and flexibility. The PZ 10 HEX and PZ 10 SQR, Weidmüller's newly launched radial crimping tools for wire-end ferrules, meet current DIN and UL requirements (DIN 41641-1 for solderless crimping and pull-out strength in accordance with DIN 46228 1-4 and UL 486 A+B). The crimping dies of both radial crimping tools cover the full cross-section range of 0.14 mm² to 10 mm². An automatic stop prevents the tool from being opened unintentionally during crimping. This ensures more consistent and precise crimping and prevents time-consuming crimping errors. An ergonomic handle design ensures safe and comfortable operation. Both the PZ 10 HEX and the PZ 10 SQR crimping tools are designed for long-lasting, professional use in industry and craft.
