The newly presented platform is a brilliant integration of different development streams which result into a value proposition designed for the cable TV operators. Bringing the expertise and know of the companies together, they were able to create an eco-system with new boundaries.
"The consumer behaviour is clearly and rapidly moving into an integrated world of home automation, security and IoT." says Luke Van Lierop, Vice President and Managing Director of Hitron Technologies Europe. He continues: "Having this partnership with ROCKETHOME and ProSyst, allows us to integrate these services onto the Hitron's today's gateway with clear service / support model for the network operator."
"After having launched a variety of different smart home products - from home monitoring to energy management solutions for our partners worldwide - we are glad to offer a tailor made solution for telecommunication providers and cable TV operators." says Yüksel Sirmasac, CEO at ROCKETHOME, "The combination of our software with the newest generation of Internet of Things gateways makes this solution powerful and unique. We really appreciate this collaboration."
"This smart home starter kit is an excellent addition to the IoT and smart home ecosystem. We are very pleased to work with Intel, Hitron and ROCKETHOME to realize more integrated open platform and open standards based products in the smart home space. Service Providers really care about time to market and look for more ready solutions these days - and even our mBS Smart Home gateway software stack and mPRM device management system is probably the most advanced middleware for managing connected devices, it is still just a piece of the total solution and we need to continue to grow the smart home ecosystem", says Daniel Schellhoss, Managing Director at ProSyst.
Interested visitors can find out more about the solution at HITRON's booth in hall 10.2 on booth G41 at the ANGA COM from 9th to 11th Jun 2015.
