USU and Raynet extend their strategical partnership also for products
(PresseBox) (Paderborn, )Raynet and USU-Group already closed a partnership in IT Service Management (ITSM) at the beginning of 2014. Both companies now agreed to intensify the partnership and extend it to the products of both houses. Contracts will be signed at current USU World exhibition (www.usu-world.de) in Darmstadt, Germany, where the annual USU Group Conference is being held June 11th and 12th, 2015.
With RayDemand, Raynet's extended solution portfolio offers an attractive web portal for end users to individually select and apply for IT products and services while being supported by a supplier managements based on components of the USU suite Valuemation (www.usu-valuemation.de).
"This way the customer can setup a seamless transition from purchasing a software to administering it in the life cycle of license maintenance, software maintenance and software deployment. Thus reducing costs and the number of possible sources of errors", says Ragip Aydin, Managing Director of Raynet GmbH.
Already in 2014 USU integrated Raynet's "RayVentory" into their ITSM suite VALUEMATION and thus allowing a permanent inventory of components within an IT infrastructure. Technical data gathered this way will be processed by Valuemation modules for IT Asset Management, Configuration Management (CMDB) and Software License Management as well as getting enhanced with commercial data - for a complete and current picture of the IT infrastructure. "This integration already proofed very successful at customer sites. That is, why we are expanding the partnership with Raynet to achieve an even higher degree of footprint within the IT asset life cycle", says Peter Stanjeck, Managing Director of USU AG.
Customers have the advantages of a higher quality of CMDB data and a reliable compliance of statutory provisions, even better, individual software provision at clients is much faster at less costs. The overall solution comes with clear financial advantages: Next to a stock reconciliation with complete CMDB data, over-licensing (too many licenses purchased) and under-licensing (missing licenses, penalties threatening) getting discovered. Employees being serviced according to their individual support needs and can work much more efficient.
The solution delivers mandatory information for administrators as well as for IT and Corporate managers for their investment and planning purposes. Aspera, a daughter of the USU Group, already integrated the Raynet solution into their product SmartTrack. Both companies are convinced to deliver concrete advantages for their customers with this pragmatical partner approach.
